7 Best Articles For First Time Campers

How can you make your first camping trip a success? Read the below articles for first time campers.

First-time campers often have a romantic view of how that first camping trip is going to go. They have visions of perfect weather, making the perfect s’more around the campfire, and sailing through that first camp set up as fast as a triple crown horse races to the finish line.

And while camping can be those things, oftentimes you are battling parking your RV or pitching your tent on a less than a flat surface, getting attacked by giant man-eating mosquitoes, or eating a peanut butter sandwich on soggy bread.

Not necessarily the picture-perfect camping experience you envisioned.

I’m going to help you camping newbies navigate the first time camping experience. I was there myself first being an occasional tent camper and now graduating to my very own little renovated 14-foot vintage camper called Beatrice.

My suggestion is if you do not have the best time on your first outing and are listing all your newly acquired camping equipment on Facebook Marketplace before you even arrive home from that first trip, give it another chance and then maybe another. Camping is sometimes more work than what you bargained for. Trust me, the sites, sounds, and smells of the good outdoors while the crickets sing is the best thing EVER (at least to me).

I hope these articles help you, the first time camper, to have a successful camping trip.
