Lampposts Outside The Louvre

This photo of the row of lamp posts in the courtyard outside the Louvre is one of my favorites from all the hundreds I took in Paris in September.  My goal was to take enough pictures to keep my Instagram account supplied until my next trip to Paris! If you don’t already, follow me on Instagram (@lorilovesparis) to see all my photos.

Paris is full of such beautiful architecture that even something as simple as a lamp post makes for a fabulous photo op. You cannot help but just snap photos of EVERTHING! It’s a fine line between looking like the crazy picture taking tourist (me!) and the tourist that just wants to experience all Paris has to offer without having to document every moment. Perhaps if I went to Paris often enough I would find myself in the latter group.

The most recent trip, we skipped going inside the Louvre. I had been there on my first trip and was happy to see Mona Lisa, and the other must sees that first time. There was no need to repeat and my travel companion had really no desire to go either. I much preferred to take her to the Orsay, which I gave my reasons why I pick the Orsay over the Louvre here.

Here are more photos from that day!
