Camping book for kids!
Little adventurers and their families will love Beatrice the Little Camper! A great addition to add to your list of camping books for kids!
Years ago Beatrice the Little Camper had a family who took her on many adventures. She looked forward to camping under the stars, listening to the campfire stories for kids, and family road trips. But when the kids in her family grew up and moved away, she found herself forgotten and hidden behind an old barn.
Feeling lonely and leaky and dreaming of s’mores, Beatrice meets the Tuffle family. Much to her surprise, they adopt her and take her home. After some TLC and help from the Tuffles, they turn her into a beautiful glamper. Beatrice is ready to take on the world!
Pull up a chair and gather all the kids around the campfire, make some s’mores, and share this children’s book about kindness and new friends with your family.
This colorfully illustrated book is based on the real-life vintage camper rehab of the author.

Amazon 5 star reviews for “Beatrice The Little Camper Gets Rescued”
5 stars. My family has always been campers. Recently my mom became a big-time glamper. She got into renovating camper after camper. We didn’t know why she would want to do this, but every time a camper was done, we could see the beauty created and the joy it gave her. My 2 girls love sharing that joy with her and love to spend time in her many campers. They also love this book. We have seen so many camper renovations. We have seen the before, and the after. This book brings back so many memories for us. It’s a great story, and has fun artwork! For anyone who loves camping, get this book! It shows how a family can come together to make something worn look beautiful, all while creating memories! – Jessica
It is a very cute story about a Little Camper van, who was kicked out of the house by her first owners after their children grew up and no one had time for camping anymore but eventually how she got a new house and her new owner renovated her indoor decors and rescued her.
The story is very emotional and small kids will definitely love it. My 6 yr old daughter was absolutely touched by the story and begged me to read it again. The illustrations are adorable. Kudos to the author for selecting this unconventional topic and portraying the camper’s story sensitively. – Nupur
Read this little book last night and it is charming. We camped with our children for years and when they left, the same thing happened. Little ones will get a kick out of this book, especially if camping is part of their life. It was well written and I applaud the author for her subject selection. – Mary
