I’m 5 questions behind, so I’m gonna get right into it.
Are you a leader or a follower?
This one is a tough one for me. Some people are born leaders and they take the lead in every situation they are in. I am not one of these people. I am more of an introvert, but given the fact that I am a Manager in my job, I am required to be a leader. Work is a different entity for me. After 30 years working at the same place I moved into a management position a year and a half ago. I have to be a leader there although I don’t always feel comfortable in that role. My way to lead is to dig in and work along side my coworkers and lead by example instead of sitting on the sidelines and dictating what needs to be done. There are times when I need to make decisions and handle situations on my own, but when I can I like to get input from my Supervisors and lead people. I try to treat people with respect.
Outside of work I can be more of a follower. I kinda am the type of person who goes with the flow. There are times that I can take charge, like when I am traveling. I usually do tons of research when I go somewhere so I am usually the “navigator”. I don’t mind taking the lead in this situation, but usually I am more than happy to take a back seat and follow most times.
The next couple of questions are simple one answer.
On a scale of one to ten how would you rate your lunch today?
A four. That day I had a simple bologna sandwich and popcorn for lunch! BOOOOORRRRING!
Do you owe someone money or does someone owe you money?
Simple! No and no
Then yesterday’s question
What’s the oldest thing you are wearing today!
My black boots! I love these boots. I bought them 2 years ago at Payless in Chicago on a shopping trip. I’m surprised given how inexpensive they were, how they have held up through almost 3 winters.
They are somewhat beat-up but they are my go to boots when I just want to be casual. Great with skinny jeans and leggings. I’m hoping they last me another 3 winters although I will probably find a new favorite pair to replace them before they totally wear out!
What was peaceful about today?
Sitting in church this morning listening to an empowering sermon! Without getting in too much detail, I have been searching for something different in my spiritual life so I have attended a different church a few times and feel so good when I leave this one that I feel a sense of peace when I leave. It is totally different from my ultra traditional home church. I think anything that makes me feel that good when I leave is a fit for me.
